Synagogue Facilities

B'nai Zion is situated on a lovely, park-like lot shaded by old oak trees.  Generous parking spaces are convenient to all three entrances.

Stop in during the week at the McBrien Road entrance and our office staff and volunteers can assist you in the Sisterhood B'nai Zion Gift Shop.  Our gift shop's best-selling items include mezuzahs, tallitot, candlelabra, shabbat and yahrzeit candles, head coverings and the occasional kiddush cup.  We usually have several shofars in stock, brightly decorated tzedakah boxes, and various holiday-related items.  If an item is Judeaca, and it is beautiful, chances are that you will find it in our gift shop!

The B'nai Zion Sisterhood and Men's Club are the backbone of many of B'nai Zion's programs and events.

Just off the foyer in the Lynnland Terrace entrance, you will find our Kosher Kitchen. B'nai Zion has a full size, industrially-equipped kitchen with separate dairy, meat, and parve sections. All foods served are either prepared freshly from rabbinically-approved ingredients or from purchased items with proper kashrut affiliations. Our professional kitchen staff can prepare kosher meals for a few people or for several hundred.

All that good food deserves a lovely setting.  Our Social Hall easily converts into a formal dining area when the occasion demands.  The stage at one end is used for special programs, and we have a special dance floor that can be assembled for our livelier events.  For large events, the accordian wall separating the Social Hall from the Sanctuary can be rolled back to allow for more seating.  Minyans meet in the Chapel with its historic ark and bimah which has been a part of B'nai Zion in three different buildings over our long history.  B'nai Zion also has a Library, and a separate Education Wing devoted to the Hebrew education of our youth.
