Joining B’nai Zion is a significant step to getting more involved in person or via Zoom, and helps us get you more involved as well.
Joining B’nai Zion Congregation also comes with the following member benefits to assist you in leading your spiritual life:
- Rabbinic support for lifecycle events and personal needs
- Beit Sefer Ivri Religious school enrollment and bar/bat mitzvah tutoring
- Special rates for adult education classes, synagogue dinners, retreats and special events
- Voting rights at membership meetings
- Ability to serve on the board of BZ and on standing committees
- Receive members only synagogue communications
- Reserved seating for High Holiday services
- Burial privileges in the BZ cemetery
Membership Levels
The simple act of joining B’nai Zion Congregation can bring new energy to your spiritual sense of well-being. For that reason, B’nai Zion maintains five levels of membership that are designed to accommodate the needs of different populations within our Jewish Community. The levels of membership are:
- Individual
- Student under age 30
- Family
- Non-resident
- Gesher (Enhanced dues to further your impact)
Though membership rates are fixed, we know each person’s financial situation is different. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. To learn more about discounts, please contact our Treasurer, Scott Israel.
